The winners of the previous two editions of the FIFA World Cup square off in which should be an intriguing match up. Football fans across the globe will be delighted and eagerly waiting for the game.

Germany won the world cup in 2014 and are the defending champions while Spain won their first ever world cup back in 2010.

Germany will play Brazil next on Tuesday in a series of March friendlies. This should have them in good stead ahead of the summer’s world cup.

On the other hand, Spain will play Argentina next on Tuesday. This should be another testing game for them as Messi will not make things easy for them.

Spain will be eager for success in this year’s world cup especially after the disastrous last world cup in which they were knocked out in the group stages.

The Spanish though leads the head to head against Germany. They have won 4 times while drawing and loosing 3 times each out of 10 games played between them so far.

Team news and possible line-ups

Sergio Busquets will not be available for Spain for Friday’s game as he is out injured. While Andres Iniesta is available and will play. Also Alvaro Morata remains sidelined.

As for Germany, Manuel Neuer will not be available due to injury.

Spain XI : De Gea, Alba, Azpilicueta, Pique, Ramos, Isco, Silva, Iniesta, Asensio, Vazquez, Costa.

Germany XI : Ter Stegen, Hummels, Kimmich, Rudiger, Ginter, Kroos, Can, Draxler, Ozil, Mueller, Werner.

Prediction

It’s hard to predict the outcome of this match as both teams are equal although Germany have the home advantage. May the best team who commits less mistakes on the night win.
