Real Madrid will take on Valencia on Sunday in 2019/20 La Liga as the season moves ahead. Los Blancos go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 9:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Mestalla Stadium, Valencia

Real Madrid have matched Barca well this season in terms of getting to the top and they would like to carry on in the same fashion moving ahead.

Real are currently 2nd in the points table after 15 matches with 34 points. The goal difference is +21.

Valencia will produce tough challenge away from home and Real Madrid will need to get ready if they are looking for three points.

Zinedine Zidane will say to his players that just one game to go before the El Clasico, so go out their and perform and be in form. A solid backline plus Real scoring goals will be expected from them in Valencia.

On the other hand, Valencia are having an OK season so far in La Liga and they need to improve further to finish higher.

Valencia are currently 8th in the points table after 16 games with 26 points. The goal difference is +3.

Real Madrid should be a good opportunity to test out themselves. They will look to get a win if possible and upset Real.

It should be tough game but Valencia need to produce top quality soccer. Try and stop Real from scoring and the chances will come. Good luck to them.

Team news and possible line-ups

Cristiano Piccini, Goncalo Guedes, Denis Cheryshev, Geoffrey Kondogbia and Maxi Gomez will all be not available for Valencia for the Real Madrid game as due to injuries. While Jasper Cillessen is a doubt.

As for Los Blancos, Ferland Mendy will not be available as due to suspension. Whereas Marcelo is injured and hence will be unavailable. Also Nacho is available and might play.

Valencia XI : Domenech, Wass, Garay, Gabriel, Gaya, Soler, Coquelin, Parejo, Vallejo, Rodrigo, Torres.

Real Madrid XI : Courtois, Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Nacho, Kroos, Modric, Valverde, Bale, Benzema, Rodrygo.

Prediction

I think this game will end a 1-1 draw with goals probably from Benzema and Rodrigo.
