Team India look to continue their winning run in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 as they take on the West Indies
India and West Indies will go head to head tomorrow in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 as both teams have different aims. Team India go into this game as the favourites.
Date & Time : 27th June 2019, 3:00 PM IST
Venue : Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Manchester
Team India after their near escape against newcomers Afghanistan will be breathing a sigh of relief but still a lot of work needs to be done. India have four major games coming up against West Indies, England, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka.
India though can be proud of the fact that they are yet unbeaten in this World Cup with one game being washed out. West Indies will be tough opponents who will pose a threat as the two time world champions are all but knocked out. India need to play good cricket and avoid slip-ups.
Qualifying to the semi’s is the main aim and batting, bowling and fielding all need to be of top notch on the day i.e tomorrow. I think India will look to bat first and score in excess of 300.
On the other hand, West Indies cricket team had a disappointing campaign and the loss against New Zealand will be pinching. They will still look to win games.
The Caribbean side should play to potential if they are to compete against a top team in India and they are very capable of it and just need to execute the game plans well. All the best to them against India.
India are behind in terms of the ODI head to head against the Windies and they will look to improve upon the fact.
