Gujarat Titans haven’t faltered in the tournament thus far and have looked good in every game they have played. They will continue to play their brand of cricket.
Captain Hardik Pandya have been good with his captaincy skills and he will tested throughout the tournament.
Bowling wise they have plenty of options to contain the opposition. With Shami and Lockie Ferguson in full flow it’s possible to defend. In terms of spinner they have Rashid. The batting is good and balanced as well with captain Hardik being consistent and Shubman Gill now joining the party. All in all they are a good mix of players.
As for the Punjab Kings they too have tasted success twice in this IPL despite a loss as well and they will look to outperform teams in future.
The PBKS are lead by a new captain in form of Mayank Agarwal and he is still learning the trade so Punjab can’t rely heavily on him and try to grasp his morales and adapt to success in bit sizes.
Punjab have beaten RCB and CSK and have lost to KKR. They know to score huge totals and with Shikhar Dhawan in form up top you can expect solid foundations to be laid to be exploited further by Liam Livingstone. Jonny Bairstow is an added bonus.
Bowling wise they have lot of wicket-takers in Rahul Chahar, Arshdeep and Rabada. Newbie Vaibhav Arora too picked up wickets in the last game.
This is the firs encounter between the Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans after the formation of the new franchisee.
For the wicket, the batsman are expect to be favoured and bowlers with discipline aided with rewards.
