Spain visit Israel after winning Group G

Spain vs Israel
Spain will play Israel on Monday night in World Cup 2018 qualifiers
Spain will travel to Israel for their final game of World Cup 2018 qualifiers. They go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 9:45 PM (Local)

Venue : Teddy Stadium, Jerusalem

Having had a good campaign so far, Spain would like to get another win under their belt. They will play a team who is sitting fourth in the group.

Israel have no chance of qualifying for next year’s world cup as they eight points behind second placed Italy. But they would want to finish the campaign on a high with a victory.

Julen Lopetegui’s men qualified for the world cup on Friday when they beat Albania to seal top place in the group.

Spain beat Israel 4-1 when they met earlier in the qualifying. David Silva was the hero then. So it will be a sterner test for the Israeli’s.

Team news and possible line-ups

Elisha Levy has no injury concerns for Monday’s game and will likely pick the strongest playing eleven against La Roja.

Tal Ben Haim will captain Israel in this match. Yossi Benayoun is available and will likely be given a start.

As for Spain, they have a few injury concerns ahead of the Monday clash as three key first-team players will not be available.

Gerard Pique and David Silva will not be available as due to suspensions. Nacho and Pedro will likely replace them.

While newcomer Alvaro Odriozola is expected to retain his place after a strong debut.

Israel XI : Harush, Keltjens, Ben Haim, Tibi, Davidzada, Kabha, Natcho, Melikson, Refaelov, Hemed, Ben Chaim.

Spain XI : De Gea, Odriozola, Ramos, Nacho, Monreal, Niguez, Illarramendi, Koke, Callejon, Rodrigo, Pedro.

Prediction

In current form it will not be tough for Spain to beat Israel in Israel. So I guess Spain is going to win 3-1.
