Real Madrid look for three points as they host Valencia
Real Madrid are set play Valencia on Sunday as their new campaign moves ahead. The Champions are favorites to win this game.
Kick-off : 10:15 PM (Local)
Venue : Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid
Madrid played Deportivo away from home last weekend and won the match convincingly. That’s a good start to their new La Liga season.
Real Madrid return to Santiago Bernabeu for their home opener. Zinedine Zidane’s men won the European and Spanish Super Cups to kick start their new season.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos though will not be present for Sunday’s game due to suspensions.
Real Madrid have won eight competitive matches in a row stretching back to last season. Also Madrid have been scoring a lot of goals.
At present Zidane’s men are an unstoppable force in European football. Real Madrid have been winning a lot of trophies in recent times.
It will be tough for Valencia against Madrid, especially at their home. Though Valencia themselves made a winning start to the season.
Team news and possible line-ups
Dani Parejo and Ezequiel Garay are doubts for Valencia for Sunday’s game. The new signings of Geoffrey Kondogbia and Jeison Murillo might get a chance to start for Valencia.
Gabriel and Nani are out injured for Valencia and will miss the game.
As for Real Madrid, Ronaldo is serving the third game of a five match ban. Whereas Sergio Ramos is also suffering suspension after being sent off against Deportivo.
Jesus Vallejo will not be available due to injury but Zidane have got a full squad to choose from otherwise.
Valencia XI : Neto, Vidal, Murillo, Vezo, Gaya, Soler, Kondogbia, Medran, Gil, Rodrigo, Zaza.
Real Madrid XI : Navas, Carvajal, Nacho, Varane, Marcelo, Modric, Casemiro, Kroos, Isco, Bale, Benzema.
Prediction
I expect a 3-0 win for Real Madrid.
