Real Madrid look for three points at home against Villarreal

Real Madrid are currently on just 32 points from 17 games. They trail table toppers and their arch rivals Barcelona by 16 points although have played a game less. Zinedine Zidane’s men know they need to keep winning games.
Real Madrid drew with Celta Vigo last weekend in La Liga. They followed that by another draw in a Copa del Rey game versus Numancia in midweek.
On the other hand, Villarreal drew with Deportivo last weekend. Although won in midweek against Leganes in a Copa del Rey fixture. It will be sterner test for them playing Real Madrid away.
So far Real Madrid and Villarreal have played each other 34 times. Out of that Los Blancos have won 21 times while Villarreal have won just 3 times, 10 other games have been a draw.
All in all it should be a good game on Saturday as both teams will give their all.
Team news and possible line-ups
Alvaro Gonzalez will not be available for Villarreal for Saturday’s game as due to suspension. Although Manu Trigueros is available and might play against Real Madrid.
As for Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos and Karim Benzema are doubtful for Saturday’s game. Although Dani Carvajal is available and will play against Villarreal.

Considering Real Madrid’s current form, it should be closely fought game on Saturday. I expect though Real Madrid to win this game. The scoreline could be 2-0.
