Real Madrid look for three points away against Spurs

Real Madrid vs Tottenham Hotspur
Real Madrid play Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night in the Champions League
Real Madrid is all set to play Tottenham on Wednesday night in the UEFA Champions League as the season moves ahead. Madrid go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 7:45 PM (Local)

Venue : Wembley Stadium, Wembley

Tottenham wait anxiously for Harry Kane to recover from injury as they prepare for the big game.

Spurs have lost both games in Kane’s absence, to West Ham and Manchester United. They now face another sterner test against Madrid.

A win for either team will ensure their place in the next round. But if it’s a draw and another between Borussia Dortmund and APOEL will leave Tottenham needing just a point from remaining two games.

Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur have played each other five times. Out of that Madrid have won on four occasions while one game has ended in a draw.

All in all it should be a good game on Wednesday night as both teams will give their all.

Team news and possible line-ups

Harry Kane is doubtful for Wednesday’s game as the striker struggles with hamstring injury. While Dele Alli is back after suspension.

Victor Wanyama remains unavailable for Spurs as he continues his rehabilitation from a knee injury. Whereas Erik Lamela is available and might play on Wednesday.

As for Real Madrid, Gareth Bale is doubtful for Tottenham game. Rest of the squad remains the same for Zinedine Zidane.

Tottenham XI : Lloris, Vertonghen, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Trippier, Dembele, Dier, Rose, Eriksen, Llorente, Dele.

Real Madrid XI : Casilla, Achraf, Nacho, Ramos, Marcelo, Modric, Casemiro, Kroos, Isco, Benzema, Ronaldo.

Prediction

While it’s not a given that Real Madrid will win on Wednesday night but they certainly go into this game as the favorites. I expect this game to be a draw though. The scoreline could be 2-2.
