Manchester United look for three points against Swansea
Manchester United will play Swansea City on Saturday as Premier League moves ahead. United will be the favorites in this game.
Kick-off : 11:30 AM BST
Venue : Liberty Stadium, Plasmarl
Referee : Jon Moss
Manchester United are currently top of the table after Sunday’s game against West Ham. They beat them 4-0 at Old Trafford.
Man United will be looking to do the same against Swansea City when they take on each other. Jose Mourinho will likely field his strongest side in quest for that.
Romelu Lukaku starred last weekend and together with Nemanja Matic, The Red Devils are looking stronger. They will be looking to do better then previous season.
While United travel to Wales in fine form, Swansea manager Paul Clement – an academy manager at Chelsea during Mourinho’s first Stamford Bridge spell – will be looking to get one over his former boss.
Team news and possible line-ups
Loanee Tammy Abraham is likely to start for Swansea on Saturday. Clement will be hoping he put’s some dent on United’s hope of getting three points.
Fernando Llorente, who is recovering from a broken arm after a summer road accident, expects to be fit for Saturday’s game.
While Mourinho might be tempted to play the same XI that hammered West Ham, but Anthony Martial made a strong case for a start with a goal last Sunday.
Juan Mata might be sacrificed in case Martial plays. Marouane Fellaini should start this game as United look to counter Swansea.
Swansea XI : Fabianski, Naughton, Fernandez, Mawson, Olsson, Britton, Fer, Carroll, Routledge, Ayew, Abraham.
Manchester United XI : De Gea, Valencia, Jones, Bailly, Blind, Matic, Pogba, Rashford, Mkhitaryan, Martial, Lukaku.
Prediction
As things stand United are leading the points table and another win will cement that position. So on current form I think the Red Devils should edge Swansea 3-1.
