Manchester United look for three points against Crystal Palace at home
Manchester United will host Crystal Palace on Saturday in the Premier League. United go into this game as the favorites.
Kick-off : 2:00 PM (Local)
Venue : Old Trafford, Stretford
United will be feeling relaxed knowing the fact that they play a team who is yet to score a goal this premier league season.
The Eagles have set a new record for the worst top-flight start in England dating back to 1888. They will certainly have to improve upon that.
Christian Benteke will not be available for Saturday’s game due to a ligament damage. This will be a big blow for Palace.
Crystal Palace have never beaten Manchester United in the Premier League. They have drawn thrice in 16 meetings thus far.
I expect it to be a good game on Saturday as both teams will give their all.
Team news and possible line-ups
Christian Benteke will be unavailable against Manchester United due to injury. His injury have got Roy Hodgson into more trouble.
Bakary Sako will likely play on Saturday although Palace are looking to sign a free-agent striker.
As for United, Ander Herrera and Anthony Martial will be hoping for starts. While Paul Pogba will remain unavailable and Michael Carrick is also going to miss out as due to injury.
Daley Blind could return to the playing XI this weekend. Other than that Jose Mourinho has a full squad to choose from.
Crystal Palace XI : Hennessey, Fosu-Mensah, Dann, Sakho, Van Aanholt, Milivojevic, Cabaye, Townsend, Loftus-Cheek, Schlupp, Sako.
Manchester United XI : De Gea, Valencia, Bailly, Jones, Darmian, Matic, Herrera, Rashford, Mkhitaryan, Martial, Lukaku.
Prediction
While it’s not a given that Man United will win on Saturday but certainly they go into this game as the favorites. I expect Manchester United to beat Palace 2-0.
