Manchester United are set to play Valencia on Tuesday night in the Champions League as the season moves ahead. Man United go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 8:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Old Trafford, Manchester

Manchester United had a great start to their 2018/19 Champions League campaign defeating Young Boys in the first game. But now a more competitive game awaits as they play Valencia.

United are currently top of the table with three points after 1 game. Manchester United have good chances against Valencia having the home advantage but need to be at their very best.

The team will need to lift themselves ahead of the Tuesday night game after that disappointing 1-3 loss at the hands of West Ham at the weekend.

On the other hand, Valencia are currently 14th in La Liga doing not so well domestically. The Champions League isn’t going well either after suffering the defeat in their opening game against Juventus.

The road ahead in the UCL isn’t easy either as they face Manchester United. They know they need to raise their game and hope for the best.

Manchester United have a good record against Valencia and will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Santi Mina will not be available for Valencia for the Tuesday night game as due to injury.

As for Manchester United, Jose Mourinho might make some changes in the playing XI.

Valencia XI : Neto, Vezo, Gabriel, Diakhaby, Gaya, Parejo, Kondogbia, Soler, Guedes, Gameiro, Batshuayi.

Manchester United XI : De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Lindelof, L. Shaw, Matic, Pogba, Fred, M. Rashford, Sanchez, Lukaku.

Prediction

It should be a good game as both teams will give their all. But in the end I expect Manchester United to win 2-1.
