The Reds must put their Premier League disappointment aside as they return to Champions League football against Sevilla on Wednesday.
Jurgen Klopp’s side thrashed Arsenal 4-0 before getting hammered by Manchester City 5-0 last weekend. So they will have to focus on the positives.
Liverpool are three points off the pace in the premier league. But they must be consistent in the UCL if they are to challenge the Europe’s elites.
They must be careful of the Spanish side Sevilla, who beat them 3-1 in the 2016 Europa League final. Sevilla must be hoping to make a mark after winning the hat-trick of Europa titles recently.
Team news and possible line-ups
Nolito and Johannes Geis will not be available against Liverpool as they are injured. While Ever Banega is available and will likely start on Wednesday.
Jesus Navas, who was released by Manchester City earlier this summer, will make a return to England.
On the other hand, Liverpool could have Philippe Coutinho starting for them for the first time this season.
Nathaniel Clyne and Adam Lallana will not be available for Wednesday’s game as they are out injured.
Sadio Mane is available for European action although he is serving a three-match domestic ban.

Prediction
Although Liverpool lost recently in the premier league and Sevilla have troubled them in recent times, I expect the Reds to win on Wednesday night. They should win this game comfortably 2-0.
