India and New Zealand head to Thiruvananthapuram for the series decider

India vs New Zealand
India will play New Zealand on Tuesday night in the final T20I
India and New Zealand are set to play each in the series decider T20I on Tuesday night in Thiruvananthapuram. Both teams will be looking for the win.

Date and Time : 7th November 2017, 7:00 PM (IST)

Venue : Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram

We head to South India with the series evenly poised. The team who will win now will take it all. We as fans can’t ask for more.

New Zealand will have to keep playing better cricket if they are to go with a trophy back to their homeland. They know that India will now come strongly on them.

As for India, they were poor on Saturday night and they know that. They will have to improve with both bat and bowl and they know they are capable of that.

The one ability that Indian cricket has seen in recent times and specially under Virat Kohli’s captaincy is their ability to bounce back. They will need it all on Tuesday night.

Team news and possible line-ups

I don’t think New Zealand are going to alter with their winning combination for the final T20I. Martin Guptill’s form was a worry up until the 2nd T20I but he came good in that game.

As for India, after their loss in the second game, they will be tempted to play an additional batsman.

I think Mohammed Siraj’s place could be sacrificed. Manish Pandey could replace him. Rest of the Indian XI will remain the same.

New Zealand XI : Guptill, Munro, Williamson, G. Phillips, Bruce, Nicholls, Grandhomme, Santner, Milne, Boult, I. Sodhi.

India XI : R. Sharma, Dhawan, Kohli, S. Iyer, M. Pandey, Dhoni, Pandya, A. Patel, B. Kumar, Chahal, Bumrah.

Prediction

In a final of a tournament we all know the team who has the ability to handle the pressure wins. So may the best team, who commit less errors win.
