France register a comfortable 2-0 win over Bolivia in 2019 Friendly
Les Bleus face Turkey and Andorra this month in the European qualifiers and this game is a good preparation for it. Bolivia too were preparing for the upcoming Copa America. Bolivia are in a tough group which contains the likes of Brazil also having Peru and Venezuela.
France started the game in a solid fashion and were outright favourites from the word go. Thomas Lemar gave them the lead in the fifth minute after a wonderful goal. Bolivia were behind and chasing the game.
Bolivia needed to lift their game up against a team like France but I am a bit disappointed with them. If they are to compete against the likes of Brazil and Peru in the Copa America then they must have some sort of a game plan which was lacking.
Coming back to the French they displayed classy football throughout as we approached half time. But their was a twist as star men Antoine Griezmann scored another to make France more satisfied with the progress on the night.
The second half now was a very important portion for the Bolivians as they if were hoping a comeback needed to score at least. Though France gave them nothing expectedly and were in fact looking for more as the game moved forward.
Inexperience showed as the South Americans La Verde played poorly although managed to keep a clean sheet in the second half. This must be a bit of a positive thing to come out of the game for Bolivia who were otherwise very loose.
So both teams now move ahead in their future endeavours in quest of positive football.
