Chelsea look for three points as they host Watford
Chelsea are all set to play Watford on Saturday in the Premier League as the new season moves ahead. The Blues go into this game as the favorites.
Kick-off : 11:30 AM (Local)
Venue : Stamford Bridge, London
Chelsea will be looking for a win after two successive defeats in the Premier League. Playing at home will be an advantage.
They will be playing a team who are fourth on the table and come fresh from defeating Arsenal. The visitors will be in a positive frame of mind.
Chelsea and Watford have met 31 times so far. Out of that the blues have won 16 games whereas the Hornets have won 9 times and six games have ended in a draw.
I think it will be a good game on Saturday as both teams will give their all.
Team news and possible line-ups
Watford have injury problems, latest concern being Issas Success who has a knee injury. So manager Marco Silva will have to choose accordingly.
While Nathaniel Chalobah will not be able to face his former club as he is injured as well.
As for Chelsea, David Luiz and Tiemoue Bakayoko are doubtful for Saturday’s game as due to injury.
Davide Zappacosta will play in place Victor Moses as he remains out. Whereas Danny Drinkwater will not be available as well due to injury.
Watford XI : Gomes, Mariappa, Kabasele, Britos, Femenia, Cleverley, Doucoure, Holebas, Pereyra, Richarlison, Gray.
Chelsea XI : Courtois, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Cahill, Zappacosta, Fabregas, Bakayoko, Alonso, Pedro, Morata, Hazard.
Prediction
While it’s not a given that Chelsea will win on Saturday but they certainly go as favorites in this game. In the current form it will not be as easy to defeat Watford, who themselves are in good form. But I still think Chelsea will win 1-0 on Saturday.
