Chelsea and Leicester City both drew yesterday to get one point each from the game and get their campaigns on non loosing track.

It must be disappointing for Chelsea given their bad run of form in recent times. But still a draw they should take with a point scored.

The Blues ideally should have won the game and that would be the fair result given their stature as a big club. The credit must go to Leicester that they played quality football.

Game begun with both teams looking to get the game up and running with a highly needed goal. Any team that would have been in front would have had the game in their hands and their’s to loose.

Chelsea were the early beneficiaries as newcomer Mason Mount put them in front in the 7th minute. Leicester would have been disappointed with the showing but it’s how it was.

The full first half Leicester City chased the game with Chelsea having a solid display. Frank Lampard would have been very pleased with the efforts while Brendan Rogers disappointed. Referee blew the half-time whistle then.

Players took the fifteen minute break with Leicester thinking of making a comeback.

Soon second half began with Leicester looking to equalise and Chelsea looking to double the lead. Wilfred Ndidi was successful in breaching The Blues defence as Leicester equalised in the 67th minute.

Both teams couldn’t be separated from here as the remaining minutes went by and we heard the full time whistle. It finished 1-1.

The Foxes now have two points from two games while The Blues registered their first points. They need to win games now next.

Chelsea play Norwich City next in the Premier League.
