The Blues take on the Gunners at the Bridge

Blues take on the Gunners
Chelsea play Arsenal on Sunday in the Premier League
Chelsea and Arsenal are set to meet on Sunday in the Premier League in London. Both teams will be looking for three points.

Kick-off : 12:30 PM (Local)

Venue : Stamford Bridge, London

Referee : Michael Oliver

Champions Chelsea will want to make a statement of intent on Sunday as the host Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal.

Antonio Conte’s men began the campaign with a 3-2 loss against Burnley. But since then have won all the premier league games till now, including a 2-1 win over Tottenham at Wembley.

Arsenal on the other hand, will need to win this match after a shaky start to the season. Wenger will have to answer the critics on Sunday.

Arsenal have beaten Chelsea in their last two domestic matches – the FA Cup Final and Community Shield.

So it should be a good competitive game on Sunday, where both teams will be go for a win.

Team news and possible line-ups

Arsenal will likely recall the first-team regulars. Gunners boss Wenger made nine changes for the Europa League win over Cologne but the likes of Petr Cech, Mesut Ozil, Laurent Koscielny and Alexandre Lacazette will all return to the squad at Stamford Bridge.

Alexis Sanchez will be available on Sunday. But Theo Walcott and Francis Coquelin will be unavailable due to injury.

As for Chelsea, Danny Drinkwater will not be available for Sunday’s game due to injury. The Blues manager Antonio Conte will likely rotate their squad after making changes for the Qarabag game.

Eden Hazard is available and will likely play against the Gunners.

Arsenal XI : Cech, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal, Bellerin, Xhaka, Ramsey, Kolasinac, Sanchez, Ozil, Lacazette.

Chelsea XI : Courtois, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Cahill, Moses, Kante, Bakayoko, Alonso, Pedro, Morata, Hazard.

Prediction

I think it should be a draw on Sunday. The scoreline could be 1-1.
