Barcelona eye quarter-final Berth as they play Levante at home in 2018/19 Copa del Rey 2nd leg
Barcelona and Levante are set to go head to head on Thursday in the Copa del Rey as the tournament moves ahead. Barca go into this game as the favourites.
Kick-off : 9:30 PM (Local)
Venue : Camp Nou, Barcelona
Barcelona struggled against Levante when they played in the first leg resulting in a Barca loss. But this time around they will be out their to correct the mistakes.
Barcelona did one thing good in that 1-2 away loss that they managed to get an away goal. Now the work is easy, they just have to win 1-0 at home to progress further.
Barcelona though need to be careful of Levante and should play their best football.
On the other hand, Levante did well by defeating Barcelona and their work is now easy as they just need to hold on to the lead.
A goalless draw will do it for them but it’s easier said then done. They will have to play outstanding football with needing some luck.
Levante have their next three games against Valladolid, Sevilla and Getafe in La Liga.
Team news and possible line-ups
Antonio Luno and Chema Rodriguez will both be not available for Levante for the midweek game as due to injuries.
As for Barcelona, Jeison Murillo is available and will play. While Samuel Umtiti will not be available as due to injury.
Levante XI : Aitor, Postigo, Cabaco, Rober, Coke, Prcic, Campana, Bardhi, Tono, Morales, Roger.
Barcelona XI : Cillessen, Semedo, Murillo, Lenglet, Alba, Rakitic, Alena, Coutinho, Malcom, Suarez, Dembele.
Prediction
It should be a good game as both teams will give their all but in the end I expect Barcelona to get the job done and progress to the next round. They might win 2-0. The goalscorers might be Philippe Coutinho and Luis Suarez.
