Chelsea are having a fine 2018/19 Premier League and only faltered twice. They will look to keep playing their kind of football ahead.

The Blues are at the moment fourth in the points table after 16 games with 34 points. Against Brighton they will hope to execute their plans to perfection and hence earn three points.

The Blues have their next three games against Bournemouth, Leicester City and Watford across The Football League Cup and The Premier League respectively.

On the other hand, Brighton are doing Ok in 2018/19 Premier League and will hope to continue playing in similar fashion ahead.

Brighton at the moment are 13th in the points table after 16 games with 21 points. Against Chelsea they know it will be a tough game and they will have to play out of their skins.

Chelsea have a good record against Brighton and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Shane Duffy will not be available for Brighton for the weekend game as due to suspension.

As for Chelsea, Eden Hazard is available and will likely play. While Alvaro Morata and Mateo Kovacic are both doubtful.

Brighton XI : Ryan, Bruno, Balogun, Dunk, Bernardo, Gross, Propper, Bissouma, Knockaert, Murray, March.

Chelsea XI : Kepa, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso, Kante, Jorginho, Barkley, Pedro, Hazard, Willian.

Prediction

It should be a good game as both teams will give their all, but in the end I expect Chelsea to get the job done and earn three points. They might win 2-1. The goalscorers might be Eden Hazard and Ross Barkley for Chelsea and Glen Murray for Brighton.
