Arsenal vs Qarabag
Arsenal will play Qarabag on Thursday in the Europa League
Arsenal are set to play Qarabag on Thursday in the UEFA Europa League as the season moves ahead. The Gunners go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 8:55 PM (Local)

Venue : Baku Olympic Stadium, Baku

Arsenal after having a good start to their 2018/19 Europa league campaign beating Vorskla 4-2 at home will now aim for another one, this time away in Azerbaijan.

Arsenal though know they will need to avoid complacency and play their best football in order to get the three points against Qarabag, who will not make things easy for them.

The Gunners are currently top of the group which contains the likes of sporting, with 3 points after the 1 game. Arsenal next play Sporting in the Europa League.

On the other hand, Qarabag have had a poor start to their 2018/19 UEFA Europa League campaign loosing the first game to Sporting 0-2. They will now look to make a comeback in the group although it will be tough.

In Arsenal they have got world class opponents meaning even though they have home advantage, they only can give their best and hope for the best.

This will be the very first time that Arsenal and Qarabag play each other.

Team news and possible line-ups

Dani Quintana will not be available for Qarabag for the midweek game as due to injury.

As for Arsenal, Henrikh Mkhitaryan will be unavailable as due to the ongoing political conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. While Petr Cech is injured and will not play against Qarabag.

Qarabag XI : Vagner, Medvedev, Rzezniczak, Huseynov, Guerrier, Qarayev, Diniyev, Medetov, Michel, Zoubir, Emeghara.

Arsenal XI : Leno, Lichsteiner, Holding, Sokratis, Kolasinac, Elneny, Guendouzi, Iwobi, Ramsey, Aubameyang, Welbeck.

Prediction

I expect Arsenal to win this game 2-0. The goalscorers might be Aaron Ramsey and Danny Welbeck.
