Real Madrid eye winning start to their 2018/19 La Liga campaign

Real Madrid had a disappointing last La Liga campaign as they finished third in the table. They will be extremely eager for success this time around.
Los Blancos have got a game first up from which they can extract maximum points this term against Getafe. Though they shouldn’t be complacent. Real Madrid have their next three fixtures against Girona, Leganes and Athletic Bilbao. They would be without the services of Cristiano Ronaldo who have joined Juventus.
On the other hand, Getafe finished eighth in La Liga 2017/18 and will be happy to be having another season in the Spanish top flight.
They though know that their first game this season is an extremely difficult this term away against giants Real Madrid. But they will look to give their all and hope for the best.
Real Madrid have been extremely good against Getafe in recent times and will look to maintain that record.

As for Real Madrid, Luka Modric is doubtful. While Thibaut Courtois is available and might play.

It should be a good game as both teams will give their all but I think Real Madrid have the edge and they certainly are the favourites. I expect them to win this game 4-2.
