Argentina eye win against Haiti in Pre World Cup friendly

Argentina vs Haiti
Argentina will play Haiti on Tuesday night in an international friendly
Argentina are set to play Haiti on Tuesday night in an international friendly as they prepare for the upcoming FIFA World Cup. La Albiceleste go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 8:00 PM (Local)

Venue : La Bombonera, Buenos Aires

Argentina are definitely amongst the favorites to lift the summer’s world cup in Russia. Lionel Messi will be eager for success in the tournament as he would love to win a world cup with the national side.

It won’t be easy they know but they just need to think positive and anything could happen. Argentina are in group D in the world cup alongside Croatia, Nigeria and Iceland. But as of now they will be warming up before the tournament begins and their first match against Iceland on the 16th June.

On the other hand, Haiti will be out there to gain experience as they know playing against Argentina in Argentina is tough. They are ranked 108th in the world.

So far both teams have played each other on two occasions with Argentina winning on both the occasions.

Team news and possible line-ups

Jems Geffrard, Andrew Jean Baptiste and Sebastien Thuriere will all be not available for Haiti for the Tuesday night game as due to club commitments.

As for Argentina, Gabriel Mercado, Lucas Biglia and Sergio Aguero will all be unavailable as due to injuries.

Haiti XI : Placioe, Christian, Carlens, Jerome, Ade, Alceus, Chevreuil, Corbe, Cantave, Sabat, Nazon.

Argentina XI : Armani, Ansaldi, Otamendi, Fazio, Tagliafico, Mascherano, Lo Celso, Lanzini, Messi, Di Maria, Higuain.

Prediction

It’s not difficult to guess the outcome of this game with Argentina a side ranked 5th in the world playing against a side in Haiti ranked 103 places below them on 108th that it will be a one sided affair. I expect Argentina to win 6-0 on the night.
