Arsenal will play Stoke City on Sunday in the Premier League as the season moves ahead. The Gunners go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 1:30 PM (Local)

Venue : Emirates Stadium, London

Arsenal are currently 6th in the points table after 30 games with 48 points. Finishing outside the top four is looking more likely for them.

But Arsenal have a great chance of playing in next season’s Champions League by winning this season’s Europa League. They resume their European aspirations by taking on CSKA Moscow in coming days in the quarter-finals.

On the other hand, Stoke City are currently struggling in the relegation zone. Their Premier League survival looks tough. They are 19th in the table after 31 games with 27 points.

The Potters are not in great form at the moment either and it should be a tough task facing one of the top sides in Premier League in Arsenal on Sunday.

So far Arsenal and Stoke City have played each other 106 times. Out of that the Gunners have won 56 games while the Potters have won 26 games, 24 other games have been a draw.

Team news and possible line-ups

Stephen Ireland, Lee Grant and Eric Choupo-Moting will all be not available for Stoke for the weekend game as due to injuries. While Charlie Adam will also be not available as due to suspension. Also Mame Biram Diouf and Kevin Wimmer are both doubts.

As for Arsenal, Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac are both doubtful for Stoke game. Whereas Santi Cazorla remains sidelined.

Stoke City XI : Butland, Johnson, Shawcross, Zouma, Stafylidis, Ndiaye, Allen, Jese, Shaqiri, Berahino, Sobhi.

Arsenal XI : Cech, Bellerin, Mustafi, Holding, Kolasinac, Elneny, Xhaka, Mkhitaryan, Ozil, Iwobi, Aubameyang.

Prediction

I expect Arsenal to get the job done and earn three points. I think they will win 3-1.
