Man United are currently second in the Premier League after 29 games with 62 points. They trail table toppers and rivals Man City by 16 points. The title race seems to be over and surely they would wanna ensure a top four finish.

United defeated Crystal Palace on Monday away and will be in a positive frame of mind. But they know that Liverpool will be a sterner test.

On the other hand, Liverpool are currently third in the Premier League after 29 games with 60 points. They are two points behind United and a win on Saturday will take them past them.

The Reds are in fine form at the moment and have progressed to the Quarter-Final stages of the UEFA Champions league. But they know it will be tough against the Red Devils away.

So far Man United and Liverpool have played each other 227 times. Out of that United have won on 87 occasions while Liverpool have won on 75 occasions, 65 other games have been a draw.
