Arsenal look for three points at home against Liverpool

Arsenal vs Liverpool
Arsenal will play Liverpool on Friday night in the Premier League
Arsenal are set to play Liverpool on Friday in the Premier League as the season moves ahead. Both teams will look for three points.

Kick-off : 7:45 PM (Local)

Venue : Emirates Stadium, London

The Gunners are currently on 33 points from 18 games. They trail table toppers Man City by 19 points. They know they need to keep winning games.

Arsenal lost 0-4 in August to Liverpool at Anfield and they know they can’t afford this kind of drubbing again.

On the other hand, The Reds are currently on 34 points from 18 games. They trail table toppers City by 18 points and know they need to keep winning games as well.

Liverpool won last weekend against Bournemouth 4-0. They should be in a positive frame of mind ahead of the Arsenal game, also they know the fact that they won against them the last time they played each other.

So far Liverpool and Arsenal have played each other 223 times. Out of that Liverpool have won 86 times while Arsenal have won 78 times, 59 other games have been a draw.

It should be a good game on Friday as both teams will give their all.

Team news and possible line-ups

Alberto Moreno and Nathaniel Clyne will not be available for Liverpool for Friday’s game due to injury. While Daniel Sturridge and Joel Matip remain doubtful.

As for Arsenal, Olivier Giroud, Francis Coquelin, Aaron Ramsey and Santi Cazorla will not be available as due to injury.

Liverpool XI : Mignolet, Gomez, Lovren, Klavan, Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Salah, Firmino, Coutinho, Mane.

Arsenal XI : Cech, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal, Bellerin, Xhaka, Wilshere, Kolasinac, Ozil, Sanchez, Lacazette.

Prediction

I think it will be a tightly contested game between two of England’s best clubs. May the best team on the night win. Although Liverpool are ahead on the head to head.
