Gunners were comfortable winners against Huddersfield in midweek. They won that game 5-0 and will be full of confidence ahead of the United clash.
On the other hand, Man United are second in the points table with 32 points from 14 games. They will also need to keep winning games as they trail leaders City by 8 points.
The Red Devils survived a late scare to beat Watford 4-2 in midweek. They will also be quietly confident ahead of the clash with Arsenal.
So far Arsenal and Manchester United have played each other 225 times. Out of that United have won 96 times while the Gunners have won 82 times, 47 other games have been a draw.
Team news and possible line-ups
Arsenal will be without Alexandre Lacazette as he is out injured. While Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck are available and might play Saturday’s game.
Santi Cazorla though remains sidelined.
As for Man United, Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini are both available and might play against Arsenal. While Nemanja Matic is doubtful for the weekend clash.
Phil Jones and Michael Carrick remains on sidelines.
