Five-time World Champions Brazil take on Serbia in their opening game of FIFA World Cup 2022 as Group G opens up. Brazil go into this game as the favourites.

Brazil are World Cup heavyweights and their is no doubt about that and it is only a matter of time before they clinch their sixth title. They will need to play their brand of football.
A Selecao have not lost a game this year and they will want to keep that record intact up until the world cup is over. They last defeated Tunisia in a friendly just before the world cup.
Manager Tite will probably use a 4-2-3-1 system as they take on the Serbs.
In the other hand, Serbia themselves have reached world cups on previous occasions and they will like to do better this time around. They will look to play quality football.
The Eagles have had a good year in terms of results and they will want to use their successful template.
Manager Dragan Stojkovic might use a 3-5-2 system on Thursday.
Team news and possible lineups
Alexander Mitrovic is doubtful for Serbia for the Brazil game. While Luka Jovic and Nemanja Gudelj are both available and likely play.
As for the Brazilians, they have a fully fit squad to choose from.
Brazil XI : Alisson, Danilo, T. Silva, Marquinhos, Sandro, Casemiro, Paqueta, Raphinha, Neymar, Vinicius Jr., Richarlison.
Prediction
It should be a fascinating contest between the two sides given their strengths and I don’t expect it to be one-sided. Although I am confident that given Brazil’s prowess they will get the job done and win 1-0.
