South Africa tour of India 2022 – 3rd T20I, match preview, predicted lineups
India take on South Africa in the 3rd T20I of the 5-match series as the SA tour of India 2022 moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for a win here.
Date & Time : 14th June 2022, 7:00 PM IST
Venue : ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam
India have not been themselves in the two matches played in the series thus far as they trail in their own backyard. They must give it their all now to win the series from here.
Team India batsman specially Ishan Kishan have been good and prolific with scoring and he needs to continue in this passion. Bowling wise Bhuvneshwar Kumar was brilliant with the ball, a better performance by India and he needs to get support from others.
It remains to be seen what will India’s strategy be against a spin-prone South Africa of the past.
On the other hand, South Africa have played above themselves in the two games so far in India. They have bowled first twice winning tosses and chasing down the totals amassed by India. They will look to continue the pattern.
The Proteas were helped last time by an awesome knock by wicket-keeper batter Heinrich Klaasen. He scored 81 (46) in the chase of 149. They didn’t miss Quinton de Kock up the order. Plus some important contributions from others. They will need similar from the batting unit in games to come. Bowling is not bad either but needs to improve and especially their spinners.
South Africa will need to be careful with the slowness of wickets in India.
As for the wicket, the bowlers will get some aid and batting won’t be easy.
