Vitality Blast 2022 – Surrey vs Hampshire Hawks, match preview, predicted lineups

Sur vs Ham
Match no. 34 of t20 blast 2022 between Surrey and Hampshire Hawks takes place today

Surrey play Hampshire Hawks in both teams 3rd and 4th matches respectively of the T20 blast 2022 tournament so far. Both teams will be looking for a win here.

Date & Time : 2nd June 2022, 5:30 PM (Local)

Venue : The Kia Oval, London

Surrey have been unbeaten so far in this tournament having won all the games they have played so far and they would love to continue the winning run playing their brand of cricket.

The Chris Jordan led side won their previous game against Gloucestershire by 37 runs in a rain-reduced match. Will Jacks and Sam Curran starred for them.

The Surrey team have their bowlers contributing and consistency is key here while batting wise they can improve upon.

On the other hand, Hampshire Hawks have been one of the worst teams of the South Group along with Kent Spitfires to have not won a game so far. They have suffered three straight losses and find themselves bottom of the points table.

Hampshire lost their last fixture against the Essex Eagles by 8 wickets but too early in just the 14th over after posting respectable 150.

The James Vince led side need contributions from the batters equally and they need to step up. In terms of their bowling they need to contain apart from just simply picking up wickets.

For the wicket, it will assist the bowlers a bit and hence batters need to be on their toes.

There are no fresh injury concerns for both sides at the moment.
