Kolkata Knight Riders won their opening game of IPL 2022 but lost the next fixture while Punjab have won their only game. These two teams lock horns today.
Date & Time : 1st April 2022, 7:30 PM IST
Venue : Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai
Punjab Kings made a good start to their 2022 IPL with a win over the RCB but now they must battle against a more formidable opponent in KKR.
Mayank Agarwal is a new captain & he will need time to gets his strategies to fruition, so Punjab must be patient.
They have good players and they must believe in themselves for an IPL maiden win.
On the other hand, KKR are one of the best teams of the Indian Premier League and needs no introduction. They will bounce back from any setbacks.
The KKR after a splendid IPL start lost their way against the same opponents against whom PBKS won i.e RCB. But a new day will have new things in it.
Shreyas Iyer have been quite good with his captaincy and will be tested in games to come. They need to play well KKR.
In terms of the head to head, KKR are way above against rivals PBKS having won 19 matches compared to Punjab Kings only 10 out of 29 played matches.
As for the pitch, it will no doubt be aiding batters but bowlers if bowl well can be effective.
