The Blues face a sterner test as they host Everton

Chelsea vs Everton
Chelsea play Everton on Sunday in the Premier League
Chelsea will host Everton on Sunday in the Premier League as the 2017/18 season moves ahead. Chelsea will be the favorites in this game and will look for three points.

Kick-off : 12:30 PM BST

Venue : Stamford Bridge, London

Referee : Jonathan Moss

Antonio Conte’s men opened their 2017/18 campaign in disastrous fashion as they were defeated by Burnley. They will certainly wouldn’t want a repeat of that.

Although in their game against Tottenham last Sunday, they performed like champions and defeated their opponents 2-1 at Wembley. Marcos Alonso was the hero in that game.

Now facing Everton with Wayne Rooney in their line-up will be a test for Chelsea. The Toffees drew against City in their last league outing.

It should be a good game on Sunday as both clubs will look to get the three points. But I think Chelsea have an edge as due to a thrilling win last weekend.

Team news and possible line-ups

Seamus Coleman is unlikely to feature for Everton until around Christmas as he suffers from a broken leg.

Funes Mori will be on the sidelines due to knee problem. Yannick Bolasie will not be available for Sunday’s game due to him recovering from injury.

Ross Barkley is out injured and his future for the club remains uncertain.

As for Chelsea, Gary Cahill remains suspended and Cesc Fabregas is available for selection after completing the suspension.

Tiemoue Bakayoko impressed on his Blues debut as he played the full 90 minutes against Tottenham, but Fabregas should replace him in midfield.

Everton XI : Pickford, Jagielka, Keane, Williams, Holgate, Baines, Besic, Gueye, Sigurdsson, Calvert-Lewin, Rooney.

Chelsea XI : Courtois, Rudiger, Luiz, Azpilicueta, Moses, N’Golo Kante, Alonso, Fabregas, Willian, Morata, Pedro.

Prediction

I expect this to be a close game. I think it will be a 2-2 draw.
