Liverpool will play Southampton on Saturday in 2019/20 Premier League as the season has just begun. The Reds go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 3:00 PM (Local)

Venue : St. Mary’s Stadium, Southampton

Liverpool have had a fantastic start to their 2019/20 Premier League campaign with a 4-1 victory over Norwich City to start off. They should now look to focus on playing their brand of soccer to compete throughout the season with Man City.

Three points is what is required and a good thing to know you play Southampton although away. Liverpool will need to execute the game plans well to get the full points away in reverse conditions. I think they have what it takes.

After this The Reds play Arsenal next at Anfield.

On the other hand, Southampton have had a poor start themselves to the campaign with a 0-3 loss away to Burnley but they will look to bounce back.

It shouldn’t be easy despite having the home advantage against the likes of Liverpool but they need to give their all and hope for the best.

Southampton are at the moment 17th in the points table.

Liverpool have a good record against Southampton and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Sam McQueen will not be available for Southampton for the Liverpool game as due to injuries.

As for The Reds, Adrian will keep for them.

Southampton XI : Gunn, Bednarek, Yoshida, Vestergaard, Valery, Romeu, Højbjerg, Bertrand, Ward-Prowse, Redmond, Ings.

Liverpool XI : Adrian, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Gomez, Robertson, Henderson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Mane, Firmino, Salah.

Prediction

I think Liverpool should win here. They might win 2-0 with the goalscorers being Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
