India look to register first win in Intercontinental Cup 2019 as they take on North Korea
India will play North Korea on Saturday in Intercontinental Cup 2019 as both teams look for their first win of the tournament. India and North Korea both lost their opening fixtures.
Kick-off : 8:00 PM IST
Venue : TransStadia Arena, Ahmedabad
India after having a bad outing against Tajikistan will now have the onus upon themselves to do the right thing and come up with the three points.
Now the opponents are North Korea so should be a tough match up but still India do have the firepower to compete and they need to as well.
The defensive solidity is needed as well as more prowess in the final third.
On the other hand, North Korea too have had a tough time out their against Syria loosing 5-2 but will have to do the needful in coming games to give them a chance.
North Korea are probably the best team in the competition and against hosts India they will need to be at their best because India will come all guns blazing.
North Korea or India either one will be eliminated from the competition if they loose.
Team news and possible line-ups
An Tae Song will keep the goal for North Korea against India.
As for The Blue Tigers, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu will keep the goal.
North Korea XI : A.T Song, R.T Il, J.K Chol, R.Y Chol, R.C Ho, S.H Jin, R.U Chol, R.U Il, Gwan, H.T Hyok, K.Y Il.
